Where Are Your Habits Leading You To?

Something I found very thought provoking….

We are creatures of habit, of patterns. While initially the habits may have served us, they may now be limiting our ability to experience more of life.

People don’t suddenly appear in the LIFE they want to LIVE… HABITS determine their OUTCOME!

From the time we get up, how we eat, how we sleep, how we walk, how we talk,… where does it lead us to?

I ask myself… Is my habit serving me now, or is it limiting me? How do I form Successful Habits?

Starting my blog takes a lot of commitment… and in committing to it, I chose to form a new habit… and I made a promise to myself to write a blog a day, or make up for it on days I didn’t post. At times I wonder, why am I putting myself through this… what is the real purpose of me blogging?

I don’t really know where this habit will lead me to… as Martin Luther King once said,

“You don’t have to see the whole stairway, just take the first step!”

What I do know is that blogging gives me a reason to commit to asking more of myself than I normally would. To dig deep within myself and uncover the wonders of life… everyday is a journey for me to discover what I don’t know, I don’t know about myself… it keeps me in MOTION.

“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful… There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in MOVEMENT there is LIFE, and in CHANGE there is POWER!”
